We had a guest at our bee today – welcome to Bev (Moreen’s friend) from Campbell River. The hall was beautifully decorated for their Thanksgiving service. I think that may be why the sun shone so brightly. It was so warm in the room that at one point Moreen had to start removing layers – and we aren’t just talking about a sweater!
There were a lot of bases being covered today – Christmas, orange blocks, challenge projects. Several of the ladies left early to take some training for the upcoming election and there were some hair and doctor appointments. We left Marion and Gail waiting for Gail’s ride after we locked up – when I last looked they were enjoying the sun at the table out front.
Our lunch discussion started when Sandra J called hockey referees umpires. From there we got into various sporting activities. We had a few people mentioning what they did on their first few dates – stock car races, ball games, duck hunting and auctions.
The Tuesday Sandwich Board
Kathleen was working on some Christmas projects, Rene had some cute pillowcases on the go and Carola was busy knitting – they all left before I dug out my camera!
