It was a small crowd today but we think many of our regulars are out in the garden on the few sunny days we’ve been allotted this month! We’re wishing Oris (and Gail) all the best; Margaret seems to enjoy the company of her puppy rather than us and Kathleen was “on the Island”.
We try to keep away from politics at the bee but it did come up today. Various opinions in the room regarding the pipeline but we didn’t solve anything. Barb M is wondering if she’ll need a passport when they travel to Alberta later this summer.
Plans and packing are underway for the Retreat, starting Saturday. Gates at the Camp don’t open until 9 AM so plan to arrive after that. Deb has the assignment of cabins so don’t move yourself in until you chat with her. Remember you will need to bring your lunch on Saturday but for the rest of the time we’ll be enjoying fantastic meals and snacks. But you know quilters – there are never enough snacks or drinks so bring your favourites.
Poor Deb is overwhelmed with planning the Retreat and prepping for her demo on Thursday night. Crazy Quilting is the topic.
