We’ve been missing Marlene but she was back sewing today; we’re looking forward to seeing Rene and Angel back once they have fully recovered. Barb K is heading to California on the weekend – we wish her a safe trip. Sandy T dropped in for lunch but didn’t stay to stitch; she says she’s working on something scrappy! Carol came for lunch and added a few stitches to the last block of her Sashiko quilt – nice to have you with us. Kathleen left just before lunch for babysitting duties; Donna, Carola and Moreen left just after lunch and Carolina left somewhere in between. Cathy G dropped in to get some cheques signed and Dawn came to stitch but left her machine attachments at home so left before she got started. Gail C even dropped in to say hello! Did I miss anyone?
Don’t forget that the demo on Thursday (Boro embroidery) will be in the Fibre Space area at the Oceanview Educational Centre. Check your e-mail for the supply list.
The Mini Meez Parade
It was a small but prolific group around the table today. It was only a coincidence that Darlene and Sherry each drew their own names for the prizes. Marlene forgot to bring her mini project today, but she’ll be ahead of us all for the May meeting.
