We had a good turnout for our last bee of the year. It was so nice to have Marlene back with us and Margie is back from her trip to the East. We were all so pleased to hear that Margaret is resting at home – “resting” certainly isn’t a word we generally use to describe Margaret but we trust she will listen to her physicians and take care of herself!
There were a lot of birds in the room today but only a couple of Christmas projects. Dawn made a quick stop to show us her handiwork before it went into the mail. Darlene was busy lending a hand at getting some binding on a quilt for Margaret.
We were sorry to learn that the pastor will be leaving the Church at Christmas. He has been so welcoming to the Guild and we wish him the very best in his next posting.
If you are traveling over the holidays, travel safe. Have a very Merry Christmas and we’ll see you all back at the bee on January 2nd (we like to start the New Year right)!
