Our sewing space was nice and warm today even with the rain and cold weather outside. By late morning though the sun had come out, sweaters were being removed, and the furnace was finally cutting out.
There were actually tables left-over today; that hardly ever happens but several of our members were at the lunch at the Seniors Centre. One of our newest Guild members came to sew with us (I’m sorry that I didn’t get your name), Karen stitched with us for awhile, Sandy T and Gwen both dropped in for a short visit.
The chatter at lunch concerned the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. Both Barb and Kathleen have been more than once, and Margaret has also attended. We switched from the Sisters show to the CQA Show in Vancouver next year. There were at least three around the table that will be attending, and there were quite a few people considering it. Barb M has already signed up to be a “class angel”.
I want to remind you that the Community Quilts weekend is Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21. These dates were added after the program listing was distributed. Come for both days, come for one day, come for a few hours, but come please!
