It was a good first day

We met at the Church for our first bee in our new location; I think everyone was pleased with the setting. We are looking forward to the extra tables but, for today, sharing was not a problem. There were lots of outlets for machines and irons and no cords running across the floor. We had room for everyone at lunch – one large table and two card tables – and we also set up the cutting station in the spacious kitchen. The coffee/tea service was fine, and clean-up was easy. Sandra says the vacuum did a good job of picking up the threads we left on the floor.

The Program Committee were busy planning our year-end party. Kathleen and Barb M were ensconced in a corner trying to figure out a wallet pattern (Kathleen gave up but Darlene S and Barb are up for the challenge). Barb M moved on to this year’s Block of the Month; her alternate setting instructions will be available soon.

The Tuesday Sandwich Board

I had a bit of difficulty with photos today. I’m used to everyone sitting in their “own” spot but since today was Day One no one really had their “own” spot. I hope I’ve identified everyone’s work correctly.
