There were lovely decorated cookies (Rene), a box of chocolates, and some cinnamon hearts to celebrate the day. There were lots of hand stitchers around the table – and not just because of the treats! We were all amazed that as Kathleen put together the rows for her Film at Five she was simply reaching into her bin and pulling out a block – no matching whatsoever! And I think she was even having fun doing it that way.
Here are just some of the things I heard during the day:
- My fob is wrapped around my doo-dad (Kathleen)
- How many quilters does it take to untie a knot (Marlene)
- If anybody needs them I have the things – you know (Rene)
- Don’t wear a onesie to a car show (Sandra J)
The Mini Meez held their monthly meeting today. Click here to see what they’ve been up to.
Looking forward to seeing everyone (all dolled up) at the 30th Anniversary dinner on Thursday. Doors at 5:30; dinner at 6:00. Remember to bring one of your oldest quilts for our Trunk Show.
