Our new cabinet is finished and was put into place on Sunday. Thanks to everyone who helped with this. The shelves are deeper and everyone at the bee today was very pleased with the space inside. The “envelope” on the side is perfect for our cutting boards and the rulers fit very safely on a shelf. I think there is an extra shelf inside so, as Donna says, we have room for a Miscellaneous collection. I bet it won’t take long to fill that up!
Several of our “regulars” were missing today but we knew what most of them were up to. There were still a few that hadn’t reported in so there will be some explaining to do next week! Although no one admitted to an October birthday (no, my birthday is September!) we enjoyed Penny’s pumpkin dessert as much as ever. If you tasted it, click here for the recipe; if you weren’t there you are going to want to recipe anyway.
Next week we’ll be meeting at the clubhouse and the Mini Meez will be in session.
The Tuesday Sandwich Board
I missed taking photos of several projects. Rene was working on the first Mystery Block, Cathie was working on placemats, Karen was putting the borders on her Seminole project, Kathy was working on her sampler from Fibre Expressions and Penny continued to work on her bag.
