We had a smaller than usual crowd at the bee today; although Kathleen and Barb are home from the show in Sisters, Oregon neither had enough energy to stitch with us today. Did I hear Donna comment on how quiet it was! Kathleen stopped in with some of her trip purchases; she promises more Show and Tell in the weeks to come.

Several of the ladies have attended the Sisters Quilt show in the past; Kathleen’s last trip was ten years ago. Antoinette and Margaret were there just a few years ago, Barb has been several times and Darlene has also experienced the show. As well as the comments about the abundance of gorgeous quilts were the ways to get through the border on the way home. Some of the ladies were lucky enough to have a border guard who had a Grandmother that quilts so they were waved through. Others were asked how much money they spent; since it was only the driver who was asked the direct questions the others made no comment and that kept them under the duty limit! Some were honest but because they were the umpteenth car to be passing through after attending a show they got a free pass as well.

The Mini Meez had their meeting in a corner of the hall this morning. Click here for their Show and Tell photos.
