In spite of the cooler weather outside, the Year End Potluck was steaming up the main hall last night. The beach attire was varied, from sundresses to bathing suits and cover-ups. Congratulations to all the Best-Dressed winners.

Everyone was especially pleased to have Gwen join us for the evening. She says she is getting better every day; in spite of her struggles her beautiful smile is firmly in place. We also had two of our Junior members join us; we hope to see more of them over the summer. Rene checked in by e-mail; they have reached the Eastern coast of Canada and will be starting their trip home. She says they are having a great time, but no report on just how many quilt shops she has visited!

The food was spectacular as always – salads, chicken, fruits, cakes and cookies, along with some punch to wash it down. Several door prizes were donated and many members went home with a lovely gift. We had a display of beach/summer-themed quilts; some of the ones on display were close to 20 years old and still looking great!

Thanks to the Program Committee and all their helpers for providing a great end to our 2014-2015 season.
