Eternity projects

We were at the Blue Mountain Estates today due to the Soup and Sandwich lunch at the Senior Center. Although it seems unbelievable, I think we have more natural light in the clubhouse than we do in our usual location.

There were all sorts of projects underway. Barb Kuntsi came up with the term “Eternity Quilts” for something she was working on, and that name suited many of our stitchers. Barb McCormack was working on her Storm at Sea; Kathy Parker has started a very intricate appliqué project; Rene worked on some of the 90+ blocks needed for her quilt, and Marlene was busy tracing designs for her next project. There were chickens in the room as well as a few Christmas projects. Thanks to the projects Margaret was working on we had tutorials on borders and mitring corners (thanks to Kathleen O’Malley and Barb McCormack).
