Quilt Show Hangover

Pieces of Leprechaun

Pieces of Leprechaun

Is anyone besides me having trouble getting their quilting life in order after the quilt show? My sewing room is a disaster and, before the show, I promised myself that I would give it a good cleaning and possibly do a bit of rearranging. However, every time I come upstairs to start a cleanup I get waylaid by purchases made in Victoria and at the show, new ideas and dreams for projects, and piles and piles of paper. The surfaces are covered with scraps of fabric destined for the stash or scrap bins, and pins and clips from projects completed. I even have a pile of projects that were set aside in order to get quilts finished for the show – One Block Wonder, a community quilt, two table runners, and three projects from February’s Project Tuesday. Speaking of which, if anyone has finished their Leprechauns I’d appreciate a look so I can see where all my little pieces fit.

Before the quilt show is a distant memory, make sure your committee reports are written while the good and the bad points are still fresh in your mind. If you have outstanding bills please pass them to Helen Anderson at your earliest convenience.

Many thanks to Barb for passing along the requirements for this month’s Project Tuesday challenge. Please grab your fabrics and join us on Tuesday morning for this touch of Spring!
