Why Quilts Matter -History, Art and Politics.

The Kentucky Quilt Project – an organization that documents quilt history, woman’s history , etc has funded the filming of a wonderful 9 part  documentary series. This series will be available on many PBS stations thoughout the USA this fall and of course we can only hope that the Seattle PBS station will air this in the near future.

It has been discussed online and everyone is excited about it. Unfortunately at the moment it is not available to be shipped to Canada BUT they are working out the kinks and hope to be able to solve international shipping.

I think it would make a very valuble addition to our guild library, so go to the link below and  see what you think. Each episode has a little preview and there is lots of value at this website for reading with your morning beverage of choice. As I am a history lover, this is a wonderful series that I am very eager to see ASAP.
