Class supply lists

Here’s where you can zip to if you’ve forgotten to pick up your supply lists at the guild meetings.  They will be posted here as well as on the main page – this could be helpful if you do not remember the date the info was first posted.

NOVEMBER

attic-window wall hanging – November 19

Wallet and cosmetic bag supplies – November 28

Mystery Quilt Instructions – Part 2 – Page 1, Page 2

String Quilts Saturday Workshop

Check the Basic Supply list at top of page.
-Also bring a design wall of flannel or fleece or batting.
-This is a foundation piecing project so old sheets, old soft fabrics that would not add extra bulk to the seams. Several meters of Poly cotton broadcloth would be a good substitute. White/ beige or pastel works the best. All my samples are on fabric foundations BUT if you insist…..you can do this on paper( it’s your quilt/your rules)
-Spend a few evenings decluttering your scraps, your drawers of odds and ends and little bits. We’re looking for skinny strips but almost every length can be used . Bring a large assortment or your whole collection. Some chunks will cut up into excellent strings.
-If you are a beginner and do not have a stash of fabric – then you can choose to work on some blocks useing the guild’s fabric for community quilts.
-Wooden Iron or plastic finger presser. These are tools to press seams without an iron. I usually use my fingernail , but if you have such a tool – please bring it.

This is a great way to get our supply lists. I just printed off my two, and now will try to find what I need in my stash. Thanks for the “heads’ up” on this site.

Hi Shawn – I’m looking for the supply list for the wallet & cosmetic bag. Is it me or is it really not there ?

If we are not emailed or given the Blocks, we cannot post them to the blog.

I found that you had to click on the workshop itself, and it would come up and you could then print it off.
