Schedule of Events Sept 2009-June 2010

Business meeting is the first Thursday evening of each month at 7:00 pm,
Quilt Bee meeting every Tuesday – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
2nd Thurs of each month is the Fiber Speak group mtg, who enjoy surface design and art quilting.

There are a variety of activities including demonstrations on successive Thursday evenings, and Workshops on one Saturday per month.

Sept 17th Potluck Social and program revealed 6:30 pm

October

Oct 1st business meeting, show and tell
Oct 8th Fiberspeak meeting, bring show and tell
Oct 15th Joan W teaches a casserole cover
Oct 22 and 29 are open for special interest groups – get together and ask for the hall to be open.

November

Nov 13,14,15 texada retreat – it is possible to put your name on a wait list for empty spaces.
Nov19th Thurs eve demo – attic windows wall hanging see Nina for info
Nov.28,2009-Sat workshop will be a variety of small bags appropriate for Christmas gifts.

Dec 10- Christmas Party note change of date ( to avoid snow and ice)

JANUARY
Jan 2&3,2009 The Annual UFO week-end . Hall is open from 9:30 to 4:00 and you may leave your equipment overnight. You are encouraged to finish old projects, WIPs ( works in progress) or community quilts. This is your time to relax and sew,sew,sew after the Christmas and NewYear’s rush.
